The 12th I ncers won at Ciren cester , beating Badminton 7-2 , but it is not form upon which one can bank too heavily , as the oppo sition was not very strong . would dearly like to glories of 12th Lancer polo re vived , but that 1914 team which won the Inter - Regimental was exceptional value , and not one of its units is now available ( Badger , " Nicholah , " Dicky Wyndham Quinn , and Leatham ) . What a real good lot they were ; and if their spirit has entered into their suc cessors it is all to the good , and no one will be better pleased than " dis nigger " ; but I cannot believe that the new lot are at the moment near enough to that clipping combination to them really dangerous . make THE HON .
