From the Hills of Neqb el Halfaya , if I turn my eyes to Occident , I see Sollum again , objective of your first battle . If I look into the dusk of Orient , I can see two tracks , the directions of your first victory . You have passed over the military kilomarks which lead to Alexandria . You have passed on the signs of an organisation that pretended to stop your advance . Today , at their places , stand wooden crosses . They tell the details of the battle , the difficulties of the advance and the sacrifices made by your Unit . Under and out of the world opinion stand the facts . And the facts of which you must be proud of are , for the present : Sollum , Duq - Buq and Sidi - Barrani .
