I am directed to inform you that it has been 28 of o
decided to relegate Lieut - Colonel F.F. Colvin , 6th Reserve Regiment of Dragoons , to retired pay , with effect from the 31st May , 1918 , in accordance with Army Council Instruction No. 735 of 1916. His successor to command the regiment will be appointed in due course .
I am to request that you will take this opportunity
of thanking Lieut - Colonel Colvin for the very valuable services which he has rendered continuously since mobilization .

In continuation of War office letter of the 4th May 1918 , numbered as above , I am directed to inform you that Lieutenant Colonel W.F.Collins , 2nd Dragoons , has been selected to command the 6th Reserve Regiment of Dragoons .

orders have been issued for him to proceed to Tidworth on or before 31st May 1918 , and take over command of this Reserve egiment from Lieutenant Colonel F.F.Colvin .
