ARMY HISTORICAL RESEARCH 12 730 . 12TH LIGHT DRAGOONS , 1792. 1792 , 31st March . Application " Housings to change , in conformity with regulation , the colour of the horse furniture of the 14th Light Dragoons from black to yellow . H.M. complies . ( W.O. 3/10 . ) Note . This must refer to the 12th Light Dragoons , whose horse furniture was black . The Inspection Report of that regiment , 7th June , 1792 , says : received 1780 , old " ; and the Report of 24th June , 1790 , remarks : very bad and not according to regulation . " The facings of the 12th Light Dragoons had been changed from black to yellow in 1784 . REV . PERCY SUMNER . " Housings 18 . |
