Another year passed so quickly that
it seems like only a month has elapsed
since our last notes. The year started
with the normal round of Troop/
Squadron and Regimental trainingt
Then in July we moved to Oerbke for
Gunnery Camp and in September con-
cluded the training year with Exercise
Lionheart. Sandwiched in between
were the normal round of Site Guards.
CPX and the like.
RQMS Bellamy continues to keep the
Regiment on the right lines and thanks
to his sterling work most drastic
shortages of clothing are overcome.
Sgt Frost has departed from our {old
to take over the appointment of SQMS
D Squadron. We wish him well and
46
Imm Ruu'
thank him for all his hard work over
the past years, especially during our
move from Hohne to Wolfenbuttel.
Cpl Motum has now taken full control
of accommodation,
LCpl Muir was promoted Cpl. We
congratulate him, No doubt it will be
even harder to get clothing out of his
SiOYC.
Tpr Mitchell has departed for civilian
life We wish him luck in his new job
as a railway guard on British Rail. The
London Midland line ain‘t seen
nothing yet! The picture of him with
green flag and whistle is quite mind
boggling!
We welcome into our fold two new
faces. LCpl Wylie and Tpr Green.
