water can reveille, it was a night we will
not forget. However, we were all glad
to get back to barracks.
The winter passed by with Site
Guards, ORTs and individual training,
with Christmas somewhere in the
middle. Spring was heralded by the
ARU. This found the Squadron engaged
in the unlikely task of providing a cere-
monial drill parade for Brigadier
Hayman-Joyce. The RSM’s expression
was a picture as Messrs Bruseth and
Carver each marched off half the
Squadron.
We have played hard. The Rugger
team won the Knock Out tournament.
Sadly our hopes for the football team
did not materialize. The hockey team
were only beaten by penalty flicks in
the final against HQ Sqn. Snow Queen
has been a great success, nineteen
members or the Squadron having
participated.
And so at last the winter is over and
off we go on the start of the training
cycle. We are looking forward to troop
training in Baden Wurtemberg. This
will be the start of another busy year.
There have been some changes in the
management, SSgt Anderson has gone
to Hong Kong as the Squadron Leader’s
advance party. We welcome 5531 Smith
as our new Artificer. Sgt Bentley has

gone to 3 Tp and Sgt Hutt to Lulworth.

seat while Sgt Marshall has taken over
Support Tp. Finally we welcome SSgt
Frost as SQMS. We have said farewell
to Cpl Lyons, Tprs Prince. Summer-
Iand. Ward, Elliot and Howells.
