During the last twelve months there
have been significant changes in the
Medical Centre. Whilst the colourful
Sgt Mullen and Cpl “Dr Bob" Harrison
keep rolling along. Captain Burnett
RAMC disappeared into the bowels
of BMH Munster taking his chicken
bones and goldfish bowl with him
(whatever did happen to those gold-
fish?) His replacement Captain
Keeling RAMC arrived with his most
prized possession, the most up-to-date
Crystal Ball that can be purchased
through the Lancet.
The waiting list of potential RMA [11‘s
to join the medical staff has been most
encouraging this yearn Whether this
has coincided with the introduction
of 2/1 hour nursing cover and the arrival
of some pretty German nurses on the
staff has yet to be established!
However, contrary to popular belief.
Tpr Campbell's “Michael Aspel's
eyes“ do not indicate that the same
room is used for overnight sleeping
accommodation.
We panicipated this year as “Angels
of Mercy" on Exercise Lionheart. The
workload was minimal and the
Samaritans were underusedi This was
not the case on Troop Training where
the RAP was constantly on the move
and open for business. both notional
and real! Unlike the rest of the Army.
