Exercise ”when"
The main event of 1984 was Ex LION-
HEART about which much has been
spoken and written. Superlatives
about “The largest since the Second
War". “The greatesr amount of compo
rations ever eaten in one country",
“the largest ever consumption of
pyrotechnics", but for C Squadron,
the most frustrating. Sadly. the exercise
does not seem to have been written for
the sole purpose of testing C Squadron.
The 1988 Exercise planners must
rectify this. or we will be tempted to
organise our own show. In [984 the
Squadron had a ‘wnlk-on' part. If the
theatrical agents and play director had
been in the stalls on the first night they
could have seen an impeccable with»
drawal against the ‘Orange’ advance
Tprs Moulds. Laing and Roberts relax an Ex Linnhenrl "EA.
