Quartermaster’s Department
It seems like only last year that, we
were in Hohne preparing for the move
to Wolfenbtlttel, and yet here we are
three years later having completed the
tour in Wolfenbilttel, now sitting in
Wimbish. The Handover, thanks to
many hours of hard work went off
smoothly. The Department split into
two groups for the handover with the
QM leading the Advance Guard in
Wimbish and the RQMS the Rear
Guard in Wolfenhilttel. Both teams,
although stretched, not only by miles
but also by staff shortages, pulled out

12 months there, this Department

After so many years out of the UK it
is a strange experience adopting to
non—BAOR systems, such as the
contract cleaning of offices, messes etc.
Since the last notes we have said
goodbye to Cpl Muir who has left the

he has left the Army, he is now employed
as a civilian storeman working with the
RMP at Helmstedt. No doubt he will
be after some military clothing to wear
