Regiment 9th/12th Lancers
Year 1987
Transcription There were two new marching dis-
plays to be learnt, the first for a parade
to be held in AFCENT. The timing for
this was critical because it had to be
co-ordinated with a fly past of jets.
It was a pleasure to see Colonel Nash
who was much involved in the organiz-
ation of the parade On the day the
timing was perfect and everything went
as planned.
Back to Wolfenbt‘tttel for more Con-
certs and Displays. One very pleasurable
occasion was playing for a group of old
age pensioners in a pub at a village
called Borsum. They all seemed to enjoy
the music. at the end they wanted to
take the BSM home with them; none of

this opportunity to thank Cpl Reid.
Cpl Harrison. LCpl James. LCpl Jones.

this year it was time for a change as
Bdsm Morfill N won the coveted place
as Colonel's Trumpeter. One wonders
what will happen next year. (Watch

Beating Retreat took place on the

The weekend concluded with Church
Parade always a solemn and moving
