4‘4. DEN AL CENTRE The past year brought many changes to the Staff at the Dental Centre, Wolf- enhuttel. Early in 1936 LCpl Sheppard left, on promotion, for a tour in Northern lre- land. While in April Pte Smith left for a career in civilian life; hoping to enter psychiatric nursing. he feels a year in Wolfenbuttel was qualification enough for the job! Their replacements are LCpl Connup (emphasis on Can rather than Up!) from 2 Armoured Field Ambulance Ind Pte Humphries from the Training Centre. A useful addition to the Dental Team is Cpl Melanie Bradley. the hygienist on loan from BMH Hannover. Among the popular events of the year were the Communal Mouthwash ses- sions attended by All Ranks (well al- most). Thanks are due to those who entered with spirit! it is hoped that these sessions will continue and that alternative anaesthetic techniques will be demonstrated. on a more serious note. Capt Black’s increased commitment to BMH Han- nover has resulted in a three day work~ ing week at Wulfenbuttelt 9/l2K and their families, however, may be assured that we will do all possible to keep wait- ing lists short.
