We set about the task of preparing for the Spring PROBEX with the French and Ameri- can Contingents and commenced train- ing for the Inter Squadron Athletics Competition The months of May and June were spent catching up on some well earned leave following the widely acclaimed Corps Commander‘s New Directive. Summer in Wolfenbuttel proved idyllic, and we were able to relax after the considerable efforts of the previous year, In mid July. MONS MOY passed successfully with B Squad- ron being responsible once more for the Inter Squadron “Its a Knockout" Competition. This year the Wives Team with a few “helpers" proved trium- phant and much fun was had with the Royal Engineer Inflatable Water Tanks. The following weekend saw a number of B Squadron Officers engaged in preparing for the Officers' Mess Ball “The Pirate Party”. Mr Hercock suc- ceeded in organising a troop party one afternoon in the RE Water Tanks before departing for his E month (or is it now 12 monthl) ”punishment” post- ing to Cyprus. In August most of the troops managed to complete a Border Patrol. At the same time we bade fare- well to the Squadron Second-in- Command, Captain Routledge who left us on posting to HQ South East District at Aldershot. At the same time 3rd Troop welcomed a new troop leader, WHAT DO You MEAN THE Row 15 CLOSED BELAUSE or M ACCIDENT ! ’6? ‘ \‘iki‘ \ ‘5‘“. ‘LI‘:W XML; ‘.| . \lL m gum — 1.le noon; (new!) mam ’Fsssr!
