RULES . 1 All ponies entered for events II and IV uust hold a racing or polo certificate of 14.1 or under . Ponies not holding such a cer tificate will be measured at the meeting . shoes . 2. All horses and ponies ridden at the meeting must be bona fide the property of the competitor using them . corresponding additional entrance fee will be given a 2nd nomination . 3. All competitors for the Gujerat . Cup who desire it and pay the Should however the number of pig be insufficient to run nomination , the cup will be decided on the results of the nations , and all fees for 2nd nominations will be returned . 4. Each heat will be in charge of an Umpire against whose de cision there is no appeal , but he may if he wishes refer to the Committee . 10. Any one making a frivolous objection or an unwarrantable claim may be fined R. 50 at the discretion of the committee . 11. Foul riding is not allowed , any competitor offending is liable to disqualification . Intentional collision is foul riding . ,, 13.
