37 35 36 India 18-4-27 T. of Ind PIG - STICKING . GUZERAT AND SALMON CUP MEETINGS . 1927 ( FROM A CORRESPONDENT . ) KHARAGHODA . April 15 . The Guzerat Cup meeting opened to day . Pig were scarce and small and it was only possible to run off four heats . No heats in the Salmon cup were run off . The meet was held at Achyana in Bajana territory . The day was fairly coo ! but a strong breeze blew which probably tended to keep the pig on the move . 1st . Heat : -Captain K. J. Catto , Captain H. Nugent Head , and Mr. K. S. Vakat Singh . Umpire Mr. A. Kirke Smith , The heat was slipped on to a fair sized boar and after a short fast run , in which at one time Vakat Singh , led , Catto speared . 2nd . Heat : Captain J. Scott Cock burn , Mr. L. C. Herne and Kunwar Gan pat Singh . McBarnet . Umpire Captain A. A. E. A short very fast run in which Ganpat Singh led the whole way and speared . 3rd . Heat : Captain de Wilton , 2nd . Lieut . Qadar Mian and Mr. D. N. Stra thie . Umpire : -Thakore Sahib of Kato san , Another short run in which Strathie and Qadar Mian each had a chance but missed and de Wilton speared . 4th Heat : -Lieut Ravubha , Mr. G. D. Moore and Mr. Thorneley . Umpire : Captain H. Nugent Head . This was a long hunt down a Nullah . Ravubha was first on and doing all the running spear ed . The two remaining heats in the first round are : -No . 5. Lieut Ata Ullah Khan , Col : H. V. V. Kyrke and Mr. H. D. Niven , No. 61 Captain A , A. E. McBarnet , Captain E. Woodhouse , Ku mar Shri Narsinjhi and Mr. A. Kirke Smith . SALMON CUP DRAW . The following is the draw for the Sal mon Cup : FIRST ROUND .
