Colvin , Retired pay , With reference to your letter dated the 10th April 1919 , reporting your arrival from Germany , I am commanded by the Army Council to inform you that in accordance with the Council's decision that all Reserve officers and Retired Pay officers should now be relegated to unemployment , it is regretted there is no alternative but that you should revert to unemployment as from the date on which you disembarked in this country , i.e. the 9th April 1919 .
