POINT - TO - POINT RACES
ARMY MEETING AT ARBORFIELD .
The Army Point - to - Point Steeplechases were run over a course of 31 miles at Arbor fleld Cross , in the Garth Country yesterday . Although the weather was perfect and the going good there was a rather poor attend ance , due possibly to an early start at 1 p.m. The Prince of Wales's Cup was won rather easily by Mr. Lumsden's Wavering Down , which , after making all the running , finished 15 lengths clear in a field of nine . The results were :
